Welcome the City Clerk’s Office.  The Clerk provide a variety of services in support of the Uniontown Council, Town Departments and Uniontown residents.

The Clerks Office provides the Town with a full range of financial and accounting services and is responsible for the fiscal activities of the Town. The department serves a key role in the budget process including budget coordination, preparation and administration. Revenue forecasting and financial planning, debt management, and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to citizens, elected officials, and federal and state agencies are some of the services provided by the City Clerk. Other key responsibilities include cash management, processing the Town's expenditures, including payroll and accounts payable, and utility account maintenance and billing.

The Clerk’s Office provides a strong customer service relationship between government and the public. Building permits and animal licenses are available at the counter. The City Clerk is the custodian of official records and legal documents of the Town and provides support to the Town Council in the legislative process, manages and maintains municipal records, including ordinances, resolutions and the permanent record of  Council proceedings, publishes legal notices, prepares and distributes Council agenda packets, and accepts requests for public information.

Clerk/Treasurer Angie Meyer

Angie was hired on January of 2001.  She handles the day to day business in Uniontown, along with the maintenance of all accounting and budgetary records, preparing payroll and accounts payable warrants, billing for water/sewer services and other accounts receivable, maintaining all city records, insurance and risk management, and many other functions.
